February Displays

Every month, Reader’s Advisory puts out different displays in the area surrounding our desk.  For us, it’s a fun way to tie in the materials we love to the specific month or season!  Anything that is on the cubes can be checked out, just like anything else in the library!

For the month of February, there are several different exciting displays to choose from.

“Mardi Gras,” located on the left book cube, is fiction that is takes place during Mardi Gras itself, or is set in New Orleans.

“After Oprah…Best Book Club Reads,” located on the center book cube, is fiction that is often read in book clubs.  While these selections tend toward literary fiction, they can surprise you!

“I’m in the Mood for Love,” located on the CD cube, is music geared toward love and romance.

“Blind Date with a Book,” located on our corner display, are books that are presented in plain brown wrappers with small “personal ads” with their genre and a short description on them.  Take a chance on a blind date and take one home!

“100 Years, 100 Films,” located on the feature film wall, are movies that have been selected to the American Film Institute’s list of the best 100 movies of the last 100 years.

Check out the slideshow below for photos of each of these displays.
We encourage you to come in and check out these displays for yourself; you can always take something home!
